The thermic drill bit can be used in all common materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass and in high-strength special materials.

Execution
  • This design removes the high-flowing material using two flat cutting edges to create an even workpiece surface
  • This tool variant is available in a short or long version, depending on the starting wall thickness being drilled
  • A flowdrill is a carbide tool used to create additional wall thickness by displacing raw material
  • This locally produced extra material thickness can be used for a load-bearing thread, as a soldering and welding zone, for sealing surfaces or as a bearing point
  • The tool diameter can be between 1 and 40 mm and the wall thickness to be machined between 0.5 and 10 mm
